Crucial Information for Parents

Northreach Youth is the youth ministry of Northreach Baptist Church. It is is new way of doing youth ministry, as we attract lots of youth from outside of the church.

Christian Aguilera is the Youth Pastor and oversees the ministry with the support of about 20 Youth Leaders.

Information for everbody…

Our focus at Northreach Youth is transformation. We long to see teens follow God as they follow Jesus through the process of discipleship.

Our youth program operates during school terms and is for those in grades 7-12 or otherwise ages 12-18yrs.

There are four components to our Friday night youth program:

1. The Car Park Lot – Between 630PM and 7PM the car park transforms into a sporting arena with couches and music to hang with until the doors open at 7PM.

2. Vibrant singing, dancing with our live teen Christian band followed by a youth relevant talk.

3. Youth POD Life groups (these are small grade and gender divided groups where the Bible is discussed),

4. Great games followed by our outdoor chill time (The Car Park Lot).

The Friday nights are a highly organised social night where youth get to meet new people while having lots of fun learning about the world we live in and God.  At least once each term the Friday night youth go off the property for a social activity.

Our annual youth camp at Magnetic Island “Realign” is normally on the week before the June school holidays.

The Friday night program kicks off at 7pm and ends at 9:30pm. However we also run The Car Park Lot from 6:30-7PM and 9-9:45PM on a Friday night.
